Eve Hill, a seventeen-year-old-girl who lives in Bethesda, Maryland, has proven again that you are never too young to make a change. Eve volunteers as a medic and responds to calls for trauma and potential COVID-19 cases.

“Personally, I can’t imagine not working at this time. I can’t imagine not giving my skills,” Eve Hill says.

John Bentivoglio, the president of the volunteer Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad, recognizes eve as a hero an example to all her peers. Eve claimed that COVID-19 has given her great experience therefore altering the way she does her job.

“In station, a lot of social distancing is being implemented. On calls, we’re having to wear a lot of protective equipment, which changes how we do patient care,” she said

Like a pro, the high school senior has proven that you are never too young to get involved and make a change. Her bravery and maturity is something to look up to. As expected, she will pursue medicine after graduation. We will continue to encourage the youth to volunteer and make a change just like Eve Hill.
